Why play Upward Soccer?
Currently, more than 500,000 children (K5- sixth grade) participate in Upward Sports leagues.
For over 14 years, Upward Sports has been conducting exciting children's sport leagues and
camps in the US and around the world.
What makes us different?
· Providing an evaluation system that promotes equal teams and opportunities
· Establishing a one-hour practice and game each week
· Implementing a substitution system for each team, allowing every child equal playing time
· Creating the opportunity for every child to learn the skills of the game
Details
-Registration fee $85
-(includes: soccer jersey and socks, poster,
car magnet, end of season award)
-Soccer shorts are optional at a cost of $15
-8 week game schedule
-Games played on Saturday
-1 Hour weekly practice (day to be determined by coach)
Calendar Details
Registration Deadline
-The early registration fee per child for soccer is $85;
after August 15th, the cost is $95. The final deadline for
registration is August 21st (evaluation night)
Evaluations
-Are manditory for all players. This gives our leadership the
information needed to create equaly skilled teams. Typical
evaluation time is 45 minutes and players can report any time
from 9am-1pm Saturday August 21st. Evaluations are always
upbeat and fun, and held at the Family Life Center Gymnasium.
Meet and Greet
-In less than an hour, parents and kids will be introduced to their
coach and get additional information about the season.
1st practice
-Your coach will inform you of the time of your first practice at the
meet and greet. Practices are held outdoors at the soccer
fields (see map above for address and directions)
Awards Night
-Awards night is held in the auditorium at FBC Arnold. Coaches,
players, and team parents will be recognized for their outstanding
contributions to the soccer season. Every player will recieve an
exciting end-of-year gift at the end of the program.
